With the start of our first N4 business enterprise, our founders create the base for the current group of companies. After many projects and long-term partnerships with key clients, much has changed – but our vision remains the same: to develop excellent, integrated solutions that significantly simplify business processes. We regularly expand our portfolio and boldly embrace new technologies. In doing so, we rely on high-performing, agile teams and deliver competitive solutions.
Our founders have been active in the software industry for many years, initially as independent software experts. Vested with extensive IT expertise and entrepreneurial spirit, they have a sense of innovative technologies. Even before the emergence of Facebook & Co., they developed the platform “gesichterparty.de,” which grew into one of the largest social network communities in southwest Germany. In the community, they achieved more and quickly recognized the importance of strong partners. Together with our sister companies, Plan Software, KiM, and sequire, we remain open to new approaches and innovations today.
Through our cross-industry software expertise, we have achieved success in Germany – especially in the Saar-Lor-Lux European Greater Region – and internationally. We are particularly attracted to the mix. Global companies must consider regional market conditions, and that’s where we support them. At our locations in Saarbrücken, St. Wendel, Leipzig, and Singapore, innovative software solutions are developed every day, which are not only used in our homeland but also worldwide in our growing customer and partner network. In addition to medium-sized companies, world-renowned corporations such as SIEMENS and Volkswagen are now among our customers.
Those who work with us benefit from our uncomplicated, agile, and solution-oriented approach. In addition to analyzing customer-specific business processes, what sets us apart is our ability to quickly adapt to new industries. We have gradually expanded our original focus on the automotive aftermarket to include medical technology, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, manufacturing industries, and public infrastructure. Before offering a solution to our customers, we thoroughly examine their challenges, utilizing our comprehensive market overview and experience in various business sectors.
Focusing on people – a principle that applies to us externally and internally. And our N4 family is growing. As part of a succession plan, N4 acquires Plan Software in 2018. The software service provider has been advising and supporting industrial customers in marketing their digital products for nearly 30 years. With N4 as a new shareholder, positive synergies are unleashed. The combined expertise, the long-standing experience of Plan Software, and the fresh perspective of N4 lead to diversification and industry expansion. But that’s not all. Under the motto “(Hol)istic or nothing,” in 2021, we integrated the IT security company sequire technology into the group and deepened our collaboration with our partner KiM in 3D configuration and intelligent product catalogs.
