Now in its third generation as a family-owned company, Maxxis forms part of a globally operating group. In Germany, the company employs around 65 people and delivers premium tyre solutions for a wide range of vehicle types.

Maxxis introduced the new shop system at the same time as a migration of its central ERP system – a dual challenge with multiple interdependencies. While expectations for modern digital commerce features continued to rise, the ERP environment had to accommodate new data structures and process logic in parallel.
As a result, short-term adjustments became a regular requirement. The team had to design, test, and optimise many components on the fly – while the project remained fully operational and under significant time pressure.
Two key factors ensured the successful implementation of the new shop system at Maxxis: a highly collaborative, solution-driven partnership with the customer and the exceptional flexibility of our N4WHEELS platform.
Despite a tight timeline, we implemented all of Maxxis’ specific requirements – ranging from complex system integrations to customised product presentation for different customer groups.
The combination of N4WHEELS, a powerful, highly configurable shop platform, and N4CONNECT, a technical integration layer for all relevant systems, made this possible. This setup allowed Maxxis to seamlessly migrate its existing sales processes to the new platform while optimising them for a dynamic market environment.
The existing online shop continued to operate with virtually no downtime. Today, Maxxis manages its online product range in a consistently up-to-date, targeted, and efficient manner – with ample room to further evolve the customer experience in the future.
