Maxxis serves many B2B customers who order directly, not via intermediary platforms like the N4WHEELS online shop we built together. These customers instead process orders with the tyre manufacturer and need stable, reliable interfaces directly connected to the Maxxis ERP system. The main challenge is the varied integrations. Each interface has its own format, structure, process logic, and expectations. Without a central system to standardize and manage these links, efficiency would be impossible.
With N4CONNECT, we implemented a middleware solution designed specifically to manage this complexity. Working closely with the Maxxis team, we analysed the individual requirements of all external customer systems – from interface architecture to industry-specific edge cases. We set up a tailored process for each scenario, ensuring that data flows reliably, securely, and in a standardized format into the ERP system. Our software acts as a universal translator between systems, enabling seamless communication across different interface types.
Thanks to its highly flexible architecture, the solution supports almost any conceivable process requirement and remains scalable for future extensions. In combination with the established industry standard EdiWheel, N4CONNECT also enables the configuration of complex or non-standard scenarios that traditional EDI setups typically cannot support.
By directly connecting external customer systems to the ERP environment, Maxxis can now reliably serve customers who do not use the online shop. This seamless integration complements the digital sales model and creates tangible operational efficiency.
