High-Tech Made in Saarland: The Saarland Chamber of Industry and Commerce Visits N4 in Saarbrücken

“Technology doesn’t emerge in a vacuum. It emerges where people listen, truly understand requirements, and develop solutions together.” That’s exactly what we discussed recently with Dr. Frank Thomé, CEO of the Saarland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Saarland), during his visit to the N4 Group in Saarbrücken.

Together with its group companies 4PACE and sequire, N4 offers a range of services that extends from customized software and process solutions through CPQ, configuration, e-commerce, and visualization all the way to cybersecurity—consistently tailored to the specific challenges of its customers.

The discussion with Mesut Cengiz, Kevin Dewi, and Eric Bieg focused on technological developments, digitalization, entrepreneurship, and the future of the Saarland as a business hub. Dr. Thomé was particularly impressed by the company’s customer focus: “It became very clear during the conversation that relationships have developed here over many years—and in some cases, decades—that extend far beyond individual projects.” Those who truly understand their customers’ business processes, develop solutions together, and stand by their side as a reliable partner over the long term create something that is at least as important in business as technological excellence: trust.

For us, too, this exchange was a significant moment. We believe that technological development and regional responsibility go hand in hand: Strong technology companies must not only think globally but also take responsibility for the region where they are growing.

We would like to thank Dr. Frank Thomé for his visit, his interest in our work, and the open, valuable exchange.
