On July 6th, the Saarlandhalle was dedicated to a topic gaining increasing significance in our current times: raising awareness about IT security. A day filled with engaging presentations, practical expert discussions, and interactive workshops provided valuable insights and opportunities to connect with regional cybersecurity firms. Despite intense deliberations, the unanimous conclusion emerged: the challenges of cybersecurity can only be met collaboratively through close cooperation.
During the Cybersecurity Day, the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) announced the Saarland’s integration as a new pilot region for the Cyber Security Network (CSN), further underscoring this perspective. The event garnered support from political representatives, including Minister-President Anke Rehlinger and Minister of Economic Affairs Jürgen Barke, who emphasized the significance of the subject.
