Business Central and NAV On-Premises: Price Adjustments from October 2026

Microsoft is adjusting the conditions for on-premises models for Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV from October 2026. For many companies, this may initially seem like a standard price update. In reality, however, it is more than that: the changes are also a reason to reassess their ERP and operating strategy.

What Exactly Will Change from October 2026

The Enhancement Plan will become more expensive
The fee will increase from 20 percent to 21 percent.

Business Central and NAV On-Premises will become more expensive
A price increase of around 10 to 11 percent is expected for on-premises subscriptions.

Regional pricing factors will be adjusted
In addition, local conversion factors to the US dollar will be adjusted. Microsoft notes on its official Business Central pricing page that prices may vary depending on currency, country, and regional factors.

Was das für Unternehmen bedeutet

For companies with existing on-premises solutions, this adjustment mainly means that license, maintenance, and operating costs should be reviewed. Depending on the current system landscape, it may make sense to assess the impact on existing contracts, subscription models, and future planning at an early stage.

Wenn Sie die Änderungen für Ihre aktuelle Business-Central- oder NAV-Landschaft einordnen möchten, unterstützen wir Sie gerne. Whether it is a concrete evaluation of the price adjustment, a review of your current licensing situation, or possible optimizations for your ERP landscape, please feel free to get in touch.
